Casa Brasil Portsmouth

Nice selection of cold (salad bar/ desserts) and hot (bbq meats and side dishes) at a fair price with attentive service. Overall great experience as per usual. If you have not been before I would recommend trying the cheesy meats, the cinnamon pineapple, for the sides the fried fish and chips, Brazilian rice. Tip is to go as a group with someone’s birthday (sign up and the person gets to eat for free, needs to be at least a group of 4 people).

Outstanding Brazilian BBQ with great meat, be prepared to leave very full. Very friendly staff, good food and a good view. Also great different meat options which was a big win for us as one of our party doesn't eat beef. Beautiful view over Port Solent too. Not the cheapest but you get your money's worth. I would recommend and would go back.

We had my wife's birthday dinner at Casa Brazil and it was amazing! The salad bar was loaded with amazing choices, and then came the meats which seemed to never stop coming :-) - unless you turn your card red :-) ! The staff were friendly and made sure were comfortable and they even had some treats for the kids. The atmosphere was clean and elegant and the experience was well worth the price. It was our second time dinning here, we'll definitely be back when we visit Portsmouth again and hope others will give it a try.

This was a fantastic first experience for us! Our interest in this style of restaurant was sparked by an episode of "Travel Man" set in Rio, and Casa Brazil is the perfect UK equivalent. We visited on a Friday for the all-you-can-eat BBQ lunch, which was a special birthday treat for me. At around £23 per person, it felt like excellent value for such a wonderful occasion. The restaurant's furnishings were lovely, and we were able to choose a two-person table with a beautiful view of the marina and the South Downs. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. A friendly server showed us to our table, and the staff who brought the meat to us throughout the meal were all so attentive. The "all-you-can-eat" concept is fantastic and includes a brilliant salad bar with a huge selection that goes far beyond your typical offerings. However, the star of the show is definitely the BBQ meats. The traffic light system is a clever way to manage the flow—a green card signals for the servers to bring more meat, while a red card means you need a break! We were quickly overwhelmed by the delicious cuts of pork, turkey, chicken, sausage, and beef, all with unique and amazing flavours. A must-try is the cinnamon pineapple, which sounds strange but is surprisingly delicious and a perfect palate cleanser. And the feast doesn't end there! The dessert bar had a great selection of fresh fruit and different treats. Everything I tried was amazing. Overall, it was an incredible experience that I would highly recommend to anyone living near a Casa Brazil. A definite five stars!
